Bring your tiny tots out to look for butterflies during ìMonarchs and Munchkinsî at 10 a.m. tomorrow at Oakwoods Metropark in Huron Township. A $3-per-person fee applies.

Enjoy a quiet trip through the Huron River marshlands during "Evening Canoe Tours" at 4 and 6 p.m. tomorrow. The fee is $3 a person or $40 per group.

"Eight-legged Freaks" will be the theme of Homeschool Monday at 10 a.m. Monday for a $3 fee.

Participants can take a "time machine ride" to experience what it was like growing up in the area long ago. A $2 fee applies.

Take a "Sunday Sunset Stroll" at 6:30 p.m. Sunday to experience the park's natural environment in a whole new light for a $2 fee.

"Sketchpad Pals" meet from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday through Thursday to explore artistic talents using nature as a guide, along with a trained artist.

The class is open to children ages 5 to 12 for a $15 fee.

Children ages 7 to 17 can tee up with golf lessons from The First Tee of Detroit during a three-day golf camp from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 18 to 20.

Students will learn putting, chipping, pitching and full swing, as well as rules, safety and etiquette of the game for $110.

Aspiring golfers also get a hat and T-shirt, daily snacks and an identification card. No golfing experience is required.

Soak up some culture at the fifth annual Downtown Monroe Fine Art Fair, set for 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. tomorrow and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday in Loranger Square at East First and Washington Streets.

More than 50 artists from across the Midwest will sell their creations, and a Children's Corner will feature face painting and children's art projects.

Greenfield Village in Dearborn is offering a host of programs and activities to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Model T.

Activities include Model T rides, a Model T medley concert, an old car festival and presentations about Henry Ford's life and achievements.

Tickets are $20 for adults, $19 for senior citizens ages 62 and older and $14 for children ages 5 to 12. Children younger than age 5 are admitted free.

In conjunction with the centennial anniversary, "Lunch and 'T' at the Henry Ford Estate" will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Aug. 30.

Enjoy a commemorative tour of Henry Ford's powerhouse and garage, view his vehicles and get an in-depth look at a 1916 running Model T, along with lunch in the historic Tea House in Clara's Rose Garden.

The 2008 Great Detroit Skate Reunion will roll through downtown at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, beginning at Karras Bros. Tavern, 225 Joseph Campau.

Thousands of skaters from across southeast Michigan will glide 10 to 12 miles through the city.

Skaters should wear protective equipment. The event is not for beginning skaters; participants must be able to skate and stop under control.

Dive into the search, recovery and conservation process of deep-ocean treasure and artifacts.

Visitors also can pilot a real robot submersible, learn pirate lore and battle the forces of nature in a 75-mph hurricane tube.
